This has to be a misprint from ESPN. While we all know that VT's staff is a bit more restrictive with access to players and the program....I can think of a number of events on the VT campus that NFL scouts are encouraged to attend off the top of my head

We all know that national perception is one of the biggest logs on Boise’s motivational fire…but Boise fans almost seem to go out of their way to create it. I'm happy tyrod is getting some love because he deserves it....unfortunately he's not going to be able to compete with the WAC qb's or win any national awards like this unless we win the national championship

I loved and hated butch. At Miami, I never thought he was a good enough gameday coach to beat a good coach like Beamer...but I hate him because he's a great recruiter. I'll reserve judgment for a few years from now but he might be proving me wrong at UNC about his in-game/gameday coaching

Yeah Tyrod stats are wrong. In some ways I can see how that happened as we burned his redshirt vs LSU...the author probably presumed that he took a redshirt in 2007 and thus has one year of eligibility left...which unfortunately is not the case. 2011 is Logan Thomas's year I can't agree more with Beamer Ball dropping off the last few years. BTU - Best case for VT is tons of Boise run leading up to the game and VT being big underdogs I am surprised by the confidence in this article though - reminds me of the hokie chest thumping early last decade....VT never loses at home, VT always covers the spread, VT never loses on Thursday night. Boise just hasn't been in the limelight long enough

I can't agree more with the author of this article - I'm enjoying the increased success that all VT sports are having but I would take a football national championship if it meant that we finished last in every other sport for the rest of time.... Nice work HokieGuru on the twitter link

Good call rusty - I wouldn't mind a maroon toned down Pro Combat design - though I could do without the gradients, etc. Regardless, I'm happy with the throwbacks - anything but the asymmetrical crap from the first few years in the ACC. Not sure if it makes a difference to you - but it has been reported that we will use the pro combat technology in 2010 ...
