Seems like a large spread for such a big game to start the season. Obviously the #7 hokies aren't getting very much respect from the vegas bookies (and maybe the rest of the country?). I hope the coaches posted this on the bulletin board this week! (Seriously Beamer needs to contact us about becoming "motivation consultants" - we dig this stuff up every week)

I think I know how this poll will turn out - but figured I would ask the hokie nation - What you say?

HA! Not surprised at the voting so far! We're the Rodney Dangerfield of college ball!

The game will be won or lost in the first half. If we're down by 14 or more at half, its over. We won't cover the spread, and Foster will turn the D loose in the second. But if we're tied up or up at the half, and BS doesn't go "turtle" on us in the second, we have a good chance to at least cover or win.

But, as yall can see, I voted cover or win. This is a bad thing Should have voted Bama by 27. Bad JuJu!

I bet they won't be a 7 point favorite on Fri if Jones and Ingram can't play, and the guy that was shot won't play, i think they'll be sunk

Win or lose for us it'll be by a field goal or less. At least it better be for a loss. Even if we lose as long as I see some offensive production I'll be happy because that will by far be the toughest defense we face all year in the regular season except ourselves in practice. So, put some points on the board either through the air or ground and I'll be happy!
