Speaking of pranks, how about this one? I went to this game and scored seats 3 rows behind our bench. I didn't make too many friends with the UVA folks as I guess they don't like to stand during football games.

Back in 2003 - a friend and I figured out you could customize plates on the vdot website - so we had some fun. Here is an example of some of our handiwork - supposedly his friend ended up ordering this plate but I've never seen it in person to know if it's true

On the final play of the amazing finish to the 1995 VT-UVA game – “The Trip” was committed by UVA trainer Joe Gieck. Of course Gieck said he was only trying “to distract the player, not trip him.” Full disclosure: I was one of the fans rushing the field at the end of the game
